Requirements

Mac OS X 10.4.11., 10.5. UB

Before releasing version for OSX 10.6. Snow Leopard, I'd like to receive some response from Apple for this bug ticket.

Installation

• Open System Preferences : International. If the Language tab does not contain Latviešu, then add it using Edit List...
• Installl (Uzstādīt Pareizrakstību.pkg)
• To finish the installation process You need to log out. If fast user switching is used, then restart is suggested.

Notes

• Make sure that in applications Latvian spellcheck is selected
  Edit : Spelling and Grammar : Show Spelling and Grammar : Latviešu
• OOo/NeoOffice users have no need to install dictionaries from File : Wizards : Install New Dictionaries because the mentioned applications use OSX system wide spellceheck.
  Besides, when using the spellcheck in the application, added words will apply to whole OS.
• Learned words are kept in ~/Library/Spelling/
• Use Izdzēst Pareizrakstību.pkg to remove the spellcheck from the system.

Additional information

• Pareizrakstība removes all previous versions.
• Pareizrakstība completely removes cocoAspell.

  Autocomplete function is disabled. In my opinion it isn't used anyway and let us save resources.
  Pareizrakstība in the system now registers as Latviešu. A build is made and put into archive, where Pareizrakstība registers as previouslly- Latviešu (Pareizrakstība). If there is a need for that vendor name, then give a notice.
